Deckhand – 85m S/Y – Sailing Experience Required

PMR Recruitment is currently searching for a Deckhand to join an 85m sailing yacht. We’re looking for someone with a Yachtmaster Offshore (Sail) and around 3 years of sailing experience. Longevity in previous roles is highly preferred.

This is a permanent contract. The yacht will be in a European shipyard for approximately 18 months, so you must be comfortable with an extended yard period. Once out of the yard, the vessel is heading to some truly remote and exciting locations.

We’re seeking a candidate with strong product knowledge and confidence across all areas of deck work. At least 2 years on large sailing yachts is required – motor yacht experience will not be considered. There’s great potential for career progression for those who show commitment and loyalty throughout the yard period.

Experienced shipwrights with solid sailing backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.

Start date: 1st November – but we’re happy to wait for the right person.
