DECKHAND - 50M S/Y

PMR Recruitment is searching for a Deckhand to join a 50m private sailing yacht. The vessel has just wrapped up a successful season and is now preparing for a busy winter period based in Palma de Mallorca. This is a great opportunity for a junior deckhand with some experience and a genuine interest in sailing and technical deck work.

This winter the rigs will be pulled, and the crew will be involved in a full rigging refit and rebuild. At the start of the next season, there will be extensive sail trials in May, making this a perfect time to step into a role that offers both hands-on learning and solid experience in large yacht operations.

We’re looking for deckhands with at least one season of experience, ideally with some sailing background. A Yachtmaster Offshore is not essential for this role but is preferred. You'll be part of a motivated, younger crew and work closely with an experienced First Mate and Bosun in a supportive environment.

The start date is 15th October, when the First Mate returns from leave.
