Chief Stewardess – 45m Motor Yacht

PMR Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Chief Stewardess for a 45m motor yacht based in Italy.

This is a seasonal position on a single-season private vessel that operates with a charter-style guest turnover. The yacht runs with 8 crew, and the interior team consists of just two stewardesses, so we are looking for a highly experienced, confident Chief Stew who can lead from the front in a fast-paced environment.

The owners have been with the vessel for over a year and a half and are described as extremely kind and respectful. They care about the crew and foster a friendly onboard environment; however, they expect very high standards and efficiency. They do not like repeating instructions and appreciate a crew member who is proactive, organised, and detail-oriented.

The Role

• Managing the interior as Chief Stewardess within a two-person team

• Rotating through housekeeping and service

• Maintaining top-level presentation and service standards

• Handling guest trips that often run back-to-back (3–4 weeks at a time)

• Managing frequent guest turnover (up to 8 guests, similar to charter operations)

This is a hard-working, fast-paced program that requires someone who does not need supervision to complete tasks to a high standard.

Requirements

• STCW (valid)

• ENG1 (valid)

• Food & Hygiene Level 2

• Strong prior experience as Chief Stewardess or senior 2nd Stew ready to step up

• Confident in both service and housekeeping

• Extremely hardworking and able to manage pressure
