ROTATIONAL CHEF - 60M S/Y

Rotational Chef – 60m Private/Charter Sailing Yacht

PMR Recruitment is currently searching for an experienced Rotational Sole Chef to join a 60m private/charter sailing yacht.
This is a dual-season vessel operating primarily in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and USA. The yacht is looking for a chef to join for a trial period during the upcoming crossing, with the official 10 weeks on / 10 weeks off rotation commencing in late June.

The Role

- Sole Chef position on a 60m sailing yacht
- Private use with charter periods
- 10:10 rotational contract (starting late June)
- Trial during crossing prior to rotation commencement

Candidate Requirements

- Proven experience as Sole Chef on sailing yachts 50m+
- Strong longevity displayed on CV preferred
- Confident managing a busy galley independently
- Extremely comfortable catering to varied and complex dietary requirements
- Adaptable between relaxed family-style service (owner preference) and elevated, high-end charter presentation
- Ability to consistently produce refined, high-quality dishes to a very high standard
- The owners generally prefer family-style dining, however the vessel does charter, so the successful candidate must be able to switch seamlessly to premium charter standards in both presentation and execution when required.

Additional Information

- Cruising: Mediterranean, Caribbean, and USA
- B1/B2 visa preferred, though not essential for the right candidate
- Close-knit, positive crew environment – the team enjoys socialising and activities outside of work
