PMR Recruitment – Permanent Chef Position | 32m Performance Sailing Yacht
PMR Recruitment is seeking a permanent Chef to join a 32m performance sailing yacht starting 12 May in Palma. This is a full-time SEA contract position offering an exciting dual-season itinerary.
Itinerary
The first charter begins 12 June, cruising the Balearics and Corsica/Sardinia for the summer season. The vessel will return to Palma in the autumn before crossing to the Caribbean for the winter season, returning to Palma in the spring.

The Role
We are looking for a culinary-trained chef who is keen to secure their first role in the yachting industry. This position would suit a land-based chef looking to transition into yachting and willing to start on an entry-level yacht salary.
Previous experience cooking on a sailing yacht will be preferred; however, candidates new to the industry are welcome to apply.
This is a busy dual-season charter/private vessel with 5 permanent crew members (8 crew total for the Atlantic crossing). It is a back-to-back charter program, so the ability to work efficiently under pressure is essential.
Requirements
Culinary trained chef
Comfortable cooking under sail
Confident with provisioning and preference-based catering (e.g. Keto, vegetarian, and other dietary requirements)
Adaptable to the fast-paced and changing nature of a sailing yacht
Willing to assist on deck when required (lines, fenders, sail drops)
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage galley operations independently
This role requires a team player who understands the dynamics of a performance sailing yacht and is happy to contribute beyond the galley when needed.
