PMR Recruitment is currently searching for an enthusiastic and talented Female Chef to join an exciting high-performance sailing yacht for a dual-season programme, with a busy international regatta schedule.
The vessel will be heading across to the Caribbean for a short regatta season before returning to the Mediterranean for another season of competitive sailing.
The Programme
Private-use sailing yacht.
Four crew onboard.
Caribbean regatta season followed by a Mediterranean regatta season.
Busy sailing and racing programme.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the galley, preparing beautifully presented meals for the owner and guests when onboard, while also catering for the demands of a busy racing programme.
They will need to be equally comfortable producing high-quality food for the owner and guests as they are preparing practical, nutritious and well-presented meals, snacks and wraps for the race crew.
What They Are Looking For
Female candidate due to cabin arrangements.
Previous yacht or professional cooking experience.
A recognised cooking course or culinary qualification.
Passionate about food, presentation and quality.
Confident catering for both guests and a busy race crew.
Highly organised, adaptable and happy working within a small team.
A genuine interest in sailing and the regatta environment.
