MATE/ENGINEER - 30M S/Y

FIRST MATE (YM + AEC1 & AEC2) – 30M S/Y

PMR Recruitment is currently searching for a First Mate (YM + AEC1 & AEC2) to join a 30m Private/Charter Sailing Yacht for an end-of-June start.

We are specifically looking for candidates with strong sailing yacht experience, ideally from performance sailing yacht programmes. Previous Southern Wind experience would be highly advantageous.

This is primarily a Mate position, with AEC1 & AEC2 required for manning purposes. The successful candidate will be confident with sailing manoeuvres, deck operations, watersports, guest interaction, and working as part of a small, hands-on crew.

The yacht has an active Mediterranean programme this season and is currently on the market for sale. However, the Owner is also building a new yacht and would ideally like to find the right person to continue onto the new project, offering excellent long-term potential.

Requirements:
Yachtmaster Offshore
AEC1 & AEC2
Strong sailing yacht background
Performance sailing experience preferred
Southern Wind experience highly advantageous
Positive, hands-on attitude
Start Date: End of June
