PMR Recruitment is seeking a Bosun to join a professionally run 47M private motor yacht with light charter use. The vessel operates to high standards with an experienced and proactive crew onboard.

The Bosun will report to the First Mate and be responsible for leading the deck team in all aspects of exterior upkeep, guest services, and water sports. The position includes overseeing daily maintenance, managing dayworkers, and ensuring a consistently high standard of presentation and professionalism.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Bosun or Lead Deckhand on 40M+ motor yachts

  • Excellent tender driving and guest-facing skills

  • Strong background in deck maintenance – teak care, varnish, detailing

  • Confident in leading and training junior crew

  • Hands-on, proactive, and effective communicator

This role could be well suited to a candidate who is part of a couple, paired with a First Mate holding or working toward their OOW 3000.
