PMR Recruitment is currently looking for a Seasonal Chef to join a 33M private Maltese-flagged sailing yacht. This is a seasonal role running until the end of October, with embarkation no later than June 3rd. The first guest trip is set to begin around June 9th.

The yacht will spend the majority of the season cruising Italy, with August based in Palma. The role requires a team-oriented chef who is happy to contribute outside the galley when needed and bring a positive, flexible attitude to a tight-knit team.

Vessel & Role Overview:

• 33M private sailing yacht (Maltese flag)

• Seasonal position: June – end of October

• Crew of 5: Captain, Mate, Deck/Stew, Engineer, Chef

• Guest numbers: typically 2–6 (first trip approx. 3 weeks)

• Cuisine: Mediterranean-style; simple, clean, fresh (no heavy spice or garlic preferred)

• Own cabin provided

• Based in Malta before guest trips commence

Candidate Requirements:

• Prior yacht experience is essential

• Strong references required

• Comfortable preparing high-quality, seasonal Mediterranean cuisine

• Willing to assist outside the galley when needed (e.g., communal areas)
