PMR Recruitment is currently searching for an experienced Chief Stewardess to join a stunning 38m Fitzroy Sailing Yacht.

The yacht was purchased by its new owner in June last year and operates as a private vessel with a busy owner programme. The owners live onboard for much of the summer season, making this an excellent opportunity for a service-oriented Chief Stewardess who enjoys building strong owner relationships and delivering a high standard of hospitality.

The vessel is currently based in Montenegro and will head to Vilanova in February before embarking on an exciting cruising programme in 2027, including Scotland, the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Greenland, Baffin Island, the East Coast of the USA, New York, and ultimately the Caribbean season.

The interior team consists of a Chief Stewardess and a Deck/Stew, so we are looking for someone confident running the interior department, managing inventories, provisioning, housekeeping, laundry, and guest service, while maintaining a positive and organised environment onboard.

The yacht benefits from a stable and long-standing crew. The Captain has been onboard for three years, and the majority of the crew have been with the programme for over a year, creating an excellent working environment.

A major benefit of this position is that from February onwards, the entire crew will move onto a rotational schedule, making this a fantastic long-term opportunity for someone looking for both career progression and an excellent work-life balance.

  • Salary: €5,000 – €5,500 DOE

  • Rotation: Full crew rotation commencing February

Requirements:

  • Previous Chief Stewardess experience preferred

  • Strong service and housekeeping skills

  • Sailing yacht experience advantageous

  • Organised and proactive approach

  • Ability to work closely with owners and a small crew

  • Positive attitude and strong team player
