Chief Engineer – 65m+ Sailing Yacht | Rotation 8:8

We are currently seeking a Chief Engineer (Y1 Unlimited) for a 65m+ private sailing yacht with an exciting programme and long-term rotational opportunity.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly experienced Chief Engineer with large yacht experience. While sailing experience is preferred, it is not essential—however, candidates must have strong experience on 65m+ motor or sailing yachts.

Applicants with both commercial and yachting backgrounds—especially on sailing vessels—will be highly regarded.

Position Details:

  • Rotation: 8:8

  • Start Date: Ideally by November, with full start in early January (the sooner, the better)

  • Salary: DOE (Depending on Experience)

  • Itinerary: TBC – capable of global cruising

Requirements:

  • Y1 Unlimited CoC (or equivalent Chief Engineer Unlimited certification)

  • Proven experience on 65m+ yachts (motor or sail)

  • Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills

  • Sailing yacht experience is a strong advantage, but not mandatory

Couples Considered:

There is potential for a couple placement, especially for candidates who have previously worked together on board. A Stewardess position is also available—please mention this in your application if applicable.
